running around the track again and again and again....

Yesterday fro practice we decided to run 32 laps around the track at Timpangos because our freshman year we did 24 and our sophome year we did 28.  It was actually quite run.  someone had to shed an article of clothing each lap.  Good thing we all had sweaters and stuff. but we still ended up shirtless including jody bensen.  each mile we would swith directions.  lap 17 we ran backwards which is a lot harder then it seems and is very tiring and when you turn to go forward again your legs are jelly and its hard to run but nevertheless we finished the next fifteen laps around the football practice and it front of the cheer leaders.  thats what i am talking about!:)

State and fall break

I sucked it up at state with a time of 17:38.   Jake heslington won with a time of 15:39.5.   The girls soccer team won the state championship 1-0 because of a sick goal by Lexie Henry.  Fall break was grand.  I went to park city with my family and also jake and colten and chad come up.  Bre Andersen was randomly up there.  Moriah Gamble, my next door neighbor, was in a hotel a half mile down the road.  She and her friend came and played hotel tag on Thursday and then we went to the pool and hot tub at there hotel because ours was way crowded and it closed at 10.  We stayed in theirs until 11:15 then we stood around the fire places until 12.  There pools and blue light and their hot tub had pink lights.  It was intense.  Also Moriah and her friend Tori are pretty cute which just made even that much better.

State and Lehi Roller mills

State this week!!!!!!!!!  Wednesday at Sugar House park in SLC.  I have been sick as of late with a rough cough and now my sister today has been throwing up so I only pray that i wont get that sick so that i can perform to my greatest ability.  Girls race at 2 and boys at 3:30.

I am selling Lehi roller mills for a fundraiser to help send me to two national races.  One is Arizona and the other in California.  costs are 9 or 5 dollars depending on what you buy.  There are muffins and pancakes and other delicious items. I will also gladly accept money donations.  Thanks.  Go T-wolvs!!!!!!!!

Region

Region was good.  Both boys and girls got 3rd place.  I ran a 16:23.  the course was 2.97 miles long.
Jake Heslington got first place winning by like 150 meters with a crazy time of 15:19 as just a junior.  Tate Jackman ran a 15:46. Nate widmer ran a 16:12. Zane Pedersen ran a 16:16.  Ian Berlin ran a 16:37.3. Ammon Nimmer ran a 16:37.9.  At pre-region we got 6th so getting 3rd was very good.  We qualified for state.  State will take place on the 19th of October.( the day after Jake's birthday.

race

Bob firman was very fun.  i didnt have the greatest race.  my legs have been hurting  as of late  but hopefully they will feel better by region next week.  I am racing at park city this week so i have to miss the first session of general conference.  i think we have a chance of winning at park city if our top 5 all have good races:)

Idaho

Tomorrow the Timpanogos Cross Country team is going to a race calle Bob Firman in Idaho.  It is going to be very fun.  12 teams in the top 20 in the nation are going to be there.  We are going to get wrecked, but it will still be fun.  The bus rides is going to be so fun.  We leave tomorrow at 7:30 in the morning at we return at abou 11:30 saturday night.  Dinner friday night is formal and we go to this nice resaturant and eat delicious food.  YUM!!!  My goal is to run with Zane and Tate and to not fall behind.  I think that i can stick with them as long as my legs are not hurting of feeling sore.  The race is Saturday morning.  Last year when we went to this race i placed 10th overall in the JV race.  This year I am running in the Elite boys race along with  jake, zane, tate, ian, ammon, and mckay.

I went on a nice run today.  It was only a ten mile run and it felt pretty good.  i then went to my ward service project.  i will later go to my friends eagle project then watching the BYU game.   Go Cougars

homecoming!!!!!!!!!!

Home coming was so fun!!!!!! for our day date we went to to the homecoming game because most of our group had a race on saturday morning until saturday afternoon.  After the game we started doing a scavenger hunt, but that was taking to long because it was all over the city.  so we stopped that and we went to maceys to pick up the ice cream that we had storted in the dry ice freezers.  We then took it to thomases house and we sculpted ice cream.  Lizzy and I made a house and car and a shed.  we won the competition according to thomases mother.  saturday we picked the girls up at 5:45 ish and we went to pick pictures.  My favorite one was when she was holding my hand or the one where she sat on my knee in the group picture.  They were all good pictures.  We then went to Jake Heslington's backyard for dinner.  there was white light that you would use for christmas all along the borders and across the bridge and they were on the trees.  There were hymns playing in the backround.  we had a candle light dinner.  IT was so pretty and romantic....   for dinner we had Try Tip steaks.   yummy!!!we also had rolls and salad.  for desert we had fried ice cream.  it was very delicious.  we then went to the dance.  That was really fun and i loved dancing with Lizzy:)  after the dance we went to marcys and watched part of dispicable me.  that is a really funny show.  i should have made a move but i didnt.  doesnt matter now....  then some people had to go home so we dropped them off then  zane, thomas, spencer, lexie, and i went to in and out burger.   that was good.   Saturday was probably the best night of my life :)  thanks lizzy

fridays race

the race was good friday.  i placed 42 out of 404 guys with a time of 16:40.15.   it was said that it was a true 5k.  for anyone that reads this there it a fundraiser tomorrow for cross country at timpanogs high school.  you can register at runtwolf.com.  it is called twolf trot.  the race is at 8 and the breakfast is at 9.  come support the twolves:)

My run today was thought.  6 400's.    i have really bad shin splints so i could not perform to my greatest ability. race on friday.  so excited to run if my shins feel better.....
